Cascadia is a North American country located on the coast of the North Pacific Ocean. Cascadia is bordered by Canada and the United States. The Canadian province of Alberta is to the east, the territories of Yukon and Northwest Territories to the north, the American state of Alaska to the northwest, the state of Idaho to the east, and California to the south.
Cascadia was once part of both the United States and Canada until a successful secession referendum held in 2012. Cascadia is made up of the former Canadian province of British Columbia and the former American states of Washington, Oregon, and Southeast Alaska, more commonly known as the Alaska panhandle.
